The Vision & Mission
Harvest Community Church seeks to be an active, growing family of Christ-followers who have a desire to experience God in their lives and worship. We are thankful, beyond description, for the wonderful salvation we have received through faith in Jesus Christ and we long to live in daily obedience to Him. We are imperfect people committed to following the leadership of the Holy Spirit, to knowing and applying the life-changing words of scripture, to growing in our love for God and for one another, and to glorifying God with genuine adoration, praise and worship.
Harvest Community Church is a place where one can connect with fellow believers in Christ who are honestly seeking to honor God with their lives. We place a high priority on relationships and seek to cultivate them through sharing love, grace, encouragement, forgiveness, and kindness with one another. We understand that the challenges, difficulties, and struggles we all face in life are opportunities for us to grow deeper in our faith in Christ and stronger in our relationships with one another.
Harvest Community Church wants to be a place where children are excited to come and learn about how Jesus Christ loves them and how He desires to have a relationship with them and where teenagers are encouraged and challenged to live for Christ and to grow in their faith in Him. A place where adults come together every week to deepen their friendships, strengthen their marriages and families, and grow in their walk with Christ.
Harvest Community Church desires to reach out to our community and beyond with the good news of Jesus Christ. We humbly accept our responsibility to share Jesus Christ with others and to live our lives in such a way that Jesus is reflected and glorified. We are excited about what God is doing in our church family and we look forward with great anticipation to partnering with Jesus Christ in the days ahead. We are convinced that we serve an awesome God who has a wonderful plan for our lives. It is our passion to know Him and to discover His perfect plan for our lives as individuals, families, and as a church body.
